ARIA P@LIT@ - Air pollution, air quality and urban microclimate
ARIA P@LIT@ is a three-year project (2022-2024) of the Department of Environmental, Land and Infrastructure Engineering (DIATI) of Politecnico di Torino, that aims to systematize the departmental expertise, to become a reference point for the territory, to incentivize and consolidate the research and to promote the development of skills focusing on air quality.
Coordinator: Prof. Pietro Salizzoni (École Centrale de Lyon and Politecnico di Torino).
ARGOMENTI DI RICERCA

NEWS AND EVENTS
-
The citizen science project, SCoolAir, has been funded by the European program Horizon Europe through the IMPETUS accelerator. The project aims to engage students and teachers in monitoring air quality and analyzing the relationships between indoor and outdoor microclimates, well-being, and air pollution.
The research team is looking for classes to participate (middle and high schools) in a cycle of activities running from September to December 2025, totaling around 10 hours in the classroom.
