The courses offered by the Department is designed to be in line with the challenges of the green new deal, that is related to climate change, circular economy, energy transition, as well as sustainability of mining and production cycles, transport systems and infrastructures. Great attention is paid to the multidisciplinarity of training courses.

In particular, DIATI hosts the Commission for Environmental and Land Engineering and offers a bachelor degree course in Environmental and Land Engineering and two Master’s degree courses in Environmental and Land Engineering and in Petroleum and Mining Engineering involving, overall, more than 600 students.
In addition, DIATI offers third-level education programmes like Phd courses, second-level specializing Master’s programmes and lifelong learning activities.
