GEWID Commission

The GEDIW Commission aims to:

• Share cross-cutting initiatives to encourage dialogue and discussion in order to optimize working procedures;
• Promote team-building activities at all levels in order to foster staff cohesion and a sense of community;
• Identify new shared spaces and rethink the management of existing ones, such as meeting areas and dining areas, also through collaboration with the contact person for buildings and logistics, in order to improve the overall experience;
• Act as a point of contact for collecting reports of critical issues in order to identify any work-related discomfort, also in coordination with central administration structures and the services available at the University;
• Promote workplace well-being through inclusive actions agreed upon with the Head of Department and/or the Administrative Head;
• Express opinions or propose initiatives, including awareness-raising activities, aimed at promoting equal opportunities (GEDI);
• Collect the training needs of PTA staff, promote staff participation, and play an active role in ensuring the necessary specialist training.

The Committee involves student representatives in its work when necessary.
