Davide Dalmazzo is currently Associate Professor of “Roads, Railways and Airports” (SSD ICAR/04) and technical manager of teaching and research activities for asphalt binders, at the High Quality Experimental Laboratory of Innovative and Recycled Materials for Civil Engineering Infrastructures at the Polytechnic of Turin. He graduated in Civil Engineering at the
Polytechnic of Turin in 2005. In 2009, he received his PhD in Structures and Infrastructures from Polytechnic University of Marche, working on the rheological characterization of bituminous binders and on the evaluation of their damage and healing properties. In the period 2009-2014 he covered a post-doctoral position in the Polytechnic of Turin, where he carried out research on road materials and infrastructure geometry. In the same university, he was Assistant Professor from 2014 to 2017.
His area of expertise includes geometrical and structural design of infrastructures, construction and maintanace of road pavements and characterization and modeling of innovative paving materials.
