Suspension of activity on X/Twitter

As the DIATI Department of the Politecnico di Torino, we have chosen to no longer use X (formerly Twitter) as part of our communication strategy.
In recent months, it has been observed that X, even more than other platforms, has seen a significant increase in misinformation, fake accounts, and online harassment. In response to concerns raised by many X users about these issues and some posts being flagged as fake, the platform's ownership has decided to remove the option to report such content. This undermines trust in the authenticity of interactions on the platform and makes it difficult to engage in constructive and meaningful dialogue.
In practice, this means that the X account diati.polito has stopped posting new tweets and responding to others. For the time being, existing tweets remain available and accessible.
