The Orientation Day Bachelor's Degree programmes is going to be held on March 28th and 29th 2025 at Politecnico di Torino.

Environmental and Land Engineering

Hydraulics and Fluid Mechanics Laboratory, 11:00 - 11:45 am, Water, land and environment: discovering one of Italy's largest university laboratories for the study of hydraulics.
Water quality Laboratories, 10:00 - 10:45 am, a research journey for the analysis, treatment and valorization of waste, biomass, water and gaseous effluents.
Visit to the GeMM | Geo-Mineralogical Museum of Politecnico di Torino, 4:00 - 4:45 pm, discovering the research challenges of raw material extraction and their role in the energy and climate transition.

Civil and Environmental Engineering

Geotechnical engineering lab, 10:00 - 10:30 am, laboratory dedicated to research and teach the mechanical behavior of soils and rocks.
Road Safety and Driving Simulation Lab, 11:00 - 11:30 am, laboratory dedicated to research and teach the topics of road design, with a special focus on traffic safety issues.
Experimental Materials and Structures Laboratory (MASTRLAB),10:30 - 11:30 am, laboratory dedicated to the experimental scientific research on traditional and innovative building materials and structures made of such materials.
Road Materials Laboratory, 12:00 - 12:30 pm, dedicated laboratory for the experimental scientific research on road infrastructure materials, developing innovative and sustainable solutions and improving testing and technologies.

The meeting point is outside classrooms R pavilion (driveway next to the Incubator)

4) STUDENT TEAMS

Friday, March 28th and Saturday, March 29th, classrooms R pavilion
Mi Lego al Territorio is a student team that has been working since 2015 to raise awareness among children and adults on environmental issues such as hydrological disruptions, floods and landslides, and earthquakes. To do this, the team has designed scale models that reproduce these phenomena, and their consequences, on the territory and the surrounding environment, entirely built in LEGO!

5) MOVING LAB

Friday, Marche 28th and Saturday, March 29th
Just outside the classroom R pavilion, you will have the chance to visit the MovingLab, the mobile laboratory for the study of climate change (no reservation required).

To access the event, visit the stands, join the thematic lessons and/or visit the laboratories it is necessary to register to the event.
The registration form will be available from until March 27th.
