SCANeR Studio 1.9

The software contains the tools and models needed to build realistic virtual scenarios including infrastructure, road environment, vehicle, and traffic. SCANeRâ„¢ Studio is divided into five macro-sections: terrain, that allows the geometric design of infrastructure and the modeling of the surrounding terrain; vehicle, which allows the control of vehicle performance; scenario, for the management of 3D objects of the scenario, including autonomous vehicles and environmental conditions (meteorological and illumination conditions). Through triggers developed in Python programming language, it is possible to communicate to the driver text messages or commands (indications of the route to follow), change the weather conditions, enable or disable traffic components, change the behaviour of autonomous vehicles, and more. The macro-section simulation controls the simulation events, while the analysis allows the extraction of recorded data on vehicle dynamics and driver actions
