Raw Materials Laboratory
The research area of the ING-IND_29 "Raw Material Engineering" sector deals with the scientific and engineering aspects relating to primary and secondary resources and the characterization and treatment processes of primary raw materials such as minerals, rocks, and secondary raw materials as civil and industrial waste.
The production and subsequent reuse of secondary raw materials and the consequent decrease in waste generation is a current and important topic at European level, promoted by means of European strategic plan on the circular economy (CE Action Plan) and the End- of-Waste, for which the waste ceases to be waste and becomes a by-product.
The research activity of the Raw Materials Engineering group is aimed at various topics, and hosts several spaces dedicated to Laboratories such as:
