SPE student chapter Politecnico di Torino
The “Politecnico di Torino” SPE Student Chapter (Faculty Advisor Dario Viberti) has been awarded the SPE Gold Standard certificate for the second year in a row. A recognition that places our Chapter among the world’s best.
SPE (Society of Petroleum Engineers) is the "the largest individual-member organiization serving managers, engineers, scientists and other professionals worldwide in the upstream segment of the oil and gas industry."
The SPE website says that “Student Chapter awards and designations recognize those that display exemplary efforts in industry engagement, operations and planning, community and social outreach, and more” and, in particular, the Gold Standard Designation "is for student chapters that have accomplished an admirable level of activity”.
Evidently, this is a significant achievement for our students, for our master's degree program in Petroleum And Mining Engineering as well as for DIATI.
