Wastewater treatment plant at low environmental and energy impact

DIATI Meeting Room - Door 3, 1st floor

3rd LEVEL COURSE OF ENVIRONMENTAL AND CIVIL ENGINEERING DOCTORATE
The course has the objective to illustrate the methods and modes of operation relating to the phyto-depuration systems for the treatment of wastewater, with particular attention to their ultimate fate. The purpose of the course is to provide listeners with the best available information and tools necessary to be able to adopt this technique as an effective tool for the treatment of civil and industrial wastewater. After a first part on a legislative framework and a general introduction to the subject then the most common fitodepuranti technologies will be analyzed by providing the tools necessary for a proper designing of the plants. Particular attention will be placed on analytical sizing methods, the tools and methods of measurement and control of the main parameters, the possibility of implementing power systems using solar energy and the use of open-source devices.

Lessons will be held in Italian by Ing Vincenzo Riggio, from Ing. Deborah Panepinto and Ing. Giuseppe Campo
