DIATI’s research focuses on technologies that aim at safeguarding, protecting and managing the environment and the territory, at the sustainable use of resources and at the optimized and eco-compatible development of transport infrastructures and systems.
DIATI proposes and carries out research under the European Framework Programmes, national PRIN and FIRB projects, regional funds; it cooperates internationally with several research centres and universities; it develops partnerships with industry to promote technology transfer and innovation. The scientific results of the studies are, in their respective fields, the subject of publications in leading journals or presentations in international and national conferences.
