M.SC. SPECIALIZATION CLIMATE CHANGE

Within the framework of the M.Sc. program in Environmental and Land Engineering Politecnico di Torino offers a new specialization in CLIMATE CHANGE beginning in the AY 2019/2020.

This two-year programme is entirely taught in English and is the only M.Sc. degree in Europe with a specific focus on technical and engineering problems arising as consequences of climat change. The general aim of this degree is to train a new generation of engineers qualifield to compete successfully for the new job opportunities arising worldwide in the field of climate change.

Main Learning Outcomes

• To analyze and model climate systems and their interaction with anthropic systems
• To apply climate-related international policies and guidelines in engineering-related contexts
• To plan and manage mitigation and adaptation strategies related to the effects of climate change
• To design, implement and monitor interventions for the management of natural extreme events and resources scarcity triggered by climate change

How to Apply
Applications to the M.Sc. in Environmental and Land Engineering – specialization Climate change are now open to students having an IELTS score of 5.0 as minimum language requirement.
