Student Award - EUBCE 2021 to Marco Chiappero

Marco Chiappero, Phd candidate in Civil and Environmental Engineering, won the Student Award at the EUBCE - European Biomass Conference and Exhibition 2021, the world’s largest conference and exhibition on biomass, held online from 26 to 29 April 2021.
Marco Chiappero was awarded the prestigious Student Award with his doctoral thesis entitled: “Impact of Biochar on the Anaerobic Digestion of Waste Activated Sludge”, that he is carrying out in collaboration with the Western University (Canada) and the University of Edinburgh, under the supervision of DIATI’s professor Silvia Fiore.
