SIDISA 2020

The SIDISA 2020 conference is approaching, and the final programme has been just released.

On Tuesday 29 June at 15:30, the opening ceremony will take place in the Aula Magna of Politecnico di Torino main building. After the institutional greetings, the ceremony will host the talk “EWA: 40 years and counting for sustainable water in Europe” by prof. Fabio Tatano and the keynote lecture “Recovery and recycle of urban waters” by prof. Michele Torregrossa.

Two intense days of scientific sessions will follow (30 June - 1 July) with up to seven contemporary sessions hosted in the Cittadella Politecnica. Presentations and posters will cover a broad range of topics regarding environmental engineering: polluted sites, wastewater treatment, waste treatment and management, anaerobic digestion, drinking water production, air pollution, asbestos, sustainable mining, circular economy, green economy, and LCA. Technical sessions will be organized by SMAT, SIAD, Suez, and Marazzato Group.

On Friday 2 July, the closing ceremony will host the keynote lecture by prof. Giuseppe Bonifazi “Waste recovery in a circular economy perspective” and the “Giuseppe Genon Award” for the best young researcher.
