Biography
Pier Paolo Riviera ha conseguito il titolo di Dottore di Ricerca in “Strutture e Infrastrutture” presso l’Università Politecnica delle Marche nel 2007, discutendo una tesi inerente alla lavorabilità dei conglomerati bituminosi. Dal 2008 al 2011 ha prestato servizio come assegnista di ricerca presso l’allora Dipartimento di Idraulica, Trasporti ed Infrastrutture Civili del Politecnico di Torino approfondendo tematiche relative all’utilizzo dei materiali secondari e di riciclo all’interno delle infrastrutture viarie. Dal 2011 al 2021 è stato Ricercatore a Tempo Indeterminato presso il Politecnico di Torino dove ha assunto la titolarità del corso di “Costruzione di strade, ferrovie ed aeroporti”. Dal 2013 svolge attività didattica anche presso la Turin Polytechnic University in Tashkent (Uzbekistan). Dal Gennaio 2022 è Professore Associato.
