Biography

He is associate professor at the Politecnico di Torino in Transportation Engineering since 2018, where he is in charge of the subject “Models and Technologies for Traffic and Transports”. He obtained the Master Science in Civil Engineering from the Politecnico di Bari (I) and the Ph.D. in "Automatics and Information Science in Transportation Systems" from the Politecnico di Torino (I). Since 1998 he has been involved on research projects related to modeling and applications for transportation systems, such as dynamic route guidance in road networks, demand responsive transportation services, micro-simulation analysis, GNSS for dangerous goods transport. He is author of more than 80 scientific papers, published in national and international journals, concerning traffic and transportation systems engineering, and focusing mainly on Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS).
