Workshop and Summer School in the framework of RheoCom project
In the framework of RheoCom project (Rheology of complex materials containing nano-seized components for civile engineering applications), supported by Compagnia di San Paolo through the Call for Joint Projects for the internationalization of Research, two events are organized by Politecnico di Torino – in cooperation with Purdue University:

Workshop “EngiMat – Engineering the rheological properties of materials”
The workshop will focus on the properties a set of complex materials employed in various civil and environmental engineering applications. Part of the program will focus on surface chemistry and interphase interactions, due to their crucial role played in the materials engineering process. The workshop is aimed at providing a state-of-the-art review and at stimulating discussion among participants.

Summer School “RheoLab – from theory to application”
The four-days summer school is organized at PoliTO and it is addressed to PhD students from PoliTO, Purdue and other Universities.
RheoLab summer school will have a strong applied character by including, along with the discussion of theoretical concepts, laboratory activities to illustrate some of the rheometrical and microstructural techniques applicable to the characterization of materials with complex internal structure.
